Should we mention it’s our honeymoon when booking?
Please do, the earlier we know, the better we can coordinate with each camp. We note it across all properties and follow up to confirm every enhancement is arranged.
What about the hot air balloon?
The Serengeti balloon departs at dawn from Seronera, floats for an hour over the plains, and ends with a champagne breakfast in the bush. One of the most celebrated experiences in East Africa. We strongly recommend it on Day 5 — book well in advance, places are limited.
Can we add Zanzibar?

What’s the best time for a honeymoon safari?
June–October: dry, clear, peak wildlife viewing. January–March: quieter, lush, calving season drama in the southern Serengeti. Lower rates at some properties. Both are outstanding the choice depends on your priorities.
Honeymoon camps during peak season are among the first to fill — often 9–12 months ahead for the most sought-after properties.
